TEAM MANAGERS
- Works with coaches to determine and reserve practice times and locations.
- Relays information from coaches to players.
- Notifies families of fundraising opportunities.
- Organizes uniform ordering information, orders and distributes uniforms.
- Ensures that the team player pictures are uploaded prior to player cards being printed.
- Makes & laminates the team player cards.
- Uses GotSoccer to manage team, apply for travel rosters, mark schedule for league play dates prior to state schedules being formed as well as a variety of other tasks.
- Distributes team schedules.
- Attends a manager’s meeting prior to season to get updates on duties.
- Ensures that team player names, jersey numbers and birth dates are correct on MYSA rosters.
- Has team book available with player cards and all needed rosters for center referees at each game. Collects the player cards after each game from the referee.
- Has first aid kit available (if coach does not) for players that are injured during a game.
- Figures out coaching expenses, collects and distributes those funds to coach.
- Responsible for overall management of all TEAM VOLUNTEER positions (field painting, concessions, garbage pick-up, etc).
